Their home of operations is situated in Acacia Ridge which boats an impressive facility where fabrication meets multidisciplinary engineering, electrical & instrumentation, and industrial control systems.
They have dedicated field service teams that are regionally based for their specified projects throughout Australia.
As the Lead Safety Officer/Advisor you will need to be experienced in site safety procedures as well as manufacturing facility safety management.
A genuine self-starter with an ability to operate with a level of autonomy and take ownership of the safety scope from a management and execution perspective to support the operation entirely.
This role is further supported by site safety personnel who are project-based, but you will be situated out of the Acacia Ridge facility with some regional site travel required on a 70/30 split.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Implement HSEQ Systems, Policies and Procedures Undertake audits and lead investigations with operational and field staff Report & present on findings, and provide corrective actions Assist with the development of weekly and monthly HSE statistics Develop close and effective working relationships with Operations and Maintenance Teams Delivery of some internal Health, Safety and Environment training Assist with the injury management and return to work for injured employees Work closely and collaboratively with the senior management team To abide by and promote the Company's culture of proactive safety & environmental awareness Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-changing environment, to work productively with limited supervision To be successful in this position you will need to demonstrate: Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) Very strong MS Office Suite skills and other software packages Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships throughout all levels of the business Knowledge and understanding of OHS Legislative Framework Minimum Certificate IV WH&S qualifications are essential A Diploma in WH&S is desirable Certificate IV Training & Assessment will be highly regarded Benefits for you: Permanent employment with a growing organisation Their management systems are accredited to ISO9001 Quality and AS/NZS 4801 Safety They are a specialised business that has dedicated 20 years to precision manufacturing and engineering You will be on-site at their facility each day (office-based) in Acacia Ridge Ongoing professional development plans Full product training and support from a dedicated and passionate management team Competitive salary package on offer $120K -$140K + Super Flexible and supportive working culture Join today and start playing your part in the future of Australia.
