South East Queensland is about to embark on a period of sustained growth in the lead-up to the 2032 Olympics, and we are thrilled to be involved in developing Cross River Rail, which will forever change the way Queenslanders travel.

CBGU JV brings together CPB Contractors, BAM, Ghella, and UGL to deliver the Tunnel and Station Package for Brisbane's Cross River Rail, the 10.2-kilometre rail line between Dutton Park and Bowen Hills, including 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD.
The project also includes the construction of four new underground stations at Roma Street, Albert Street, Boggo Road, and Woolloongabba, where the future upgraded Olympic stadium will stand.

Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, the Project Engineer will sit within the construction delivery team.
You will effectively coordinate the delivery and construction elements for a designated area on the project to ensure safety, time, cost, and environmental objectives are achieved.

Your Responsibilities Will Include: Interpreting, planning, coordinating, and administering construction engineering activities in line with the project documentation.
Active management and liaising with site-based personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Knowledge of project management structure, plans, specifications, standards, and implications for project accountabilities.
Understanding of the Construction Management Plan, Quality Management Plan, Safety Management Plan, and Environmental Management Plan.
Execute working knowledge of contractual and legislation relevant to the project.
Value manage and contribute to improvement of existing designs.
Work within the project team to assist with procurement activities.
Pre-contracts knowledge in relation to design, planning, and legislative requirements.
Demonstrate financial management skills and commercial acumen when making decisions.
Assisting the Senior Project Engineer in preparing accurate monthly reports.
Developing and monitoring KPI and productivity analysis against program and budget.
Minimum Requirements for This Role Include: Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, or other relevant discipline.
Extensive background in civil with a minimum of 5 years' industry experience.
Proven experience with a top-tier or mid-tier contractor.
Demonstrated commitment to health and safety practices and expectations.
