A job to be proud of: We are looking for an experienced People Leader to provide oversight, leadership and guidance to the Resource Planning and Scheduling team in the development and planning of all operational staff.
The role is a permanent, full-time role working Monday to Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm at our Belmont State Office.
What you'll do: Provide supervision and leadership to team members to ensure day-to-day function activities are achieved.
Provide coordination, leadership and guidance to the Resource Planning team to ensure the roster is developed, created and planned in accordance with future workload demands.
Provide guidance to team members to assist them in dealing/managing unfamiliar tasks.
Ensure Workforce Scheduling KPI's are achieved to the required performance standard as determined by line manager.
Ensure team members have the knowledge, skills and abilities to achieve personal and performance objectives.
Continuously build and maintain strong rapport across internal and external personnel within the business including but not limited to staff deployment team, paramedics, ambulance officers, patient transport, state operations centre and police department.
Create, develop and plan staff rosters for all operational employees.
Ensure all rostered crews are entered correctly on the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system in accordance with the planned roster.
Ensure team vacancies are filled in a timely manner via appropriate recruitment processes.
What you'll need: Demonstrated people management and leadership experience.
Strong stakeholder engagement Experience in preparing, developing and implementing rosters or schedules.
Ability to develop reports for line manager as required.
Previous experience in managing or supervising teams.
Demonstrated experience using Microsoft products.
Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise workload to ensure services area outcomes, administration standards and expectations are achieved.
Cert IV in Business Administration desirable.
