Perth - Project CoordinatorWA Mining Giant – Perth CBD | Asap start5:2 RosterInitial 3 Month ContractAre you an experienced Project Coordinator looking for your next temp contract, in the WA Mining Industry?Who are we?Chandler Macleod is a leading global provider of workforce solutions, offering recruitment, consulting, and outsourcing services to clients across various industries: #wegetpeople.About the RoleOur client is a major mining producer with an opportunity for a Project Coordinator in WA supporting the Project Manager.Key Responsibilities:As a Project Coordinator, you will be instrumental in ensuring smooth project operations, coordinating activities, schedules, and resources to keep projects on track.You'll work closely with the Project Manager, teams, and cross-functional departments to manage timelines, track progress, and resolve issues that arise.Develop and obtain support and approval from internal stakeholders on key project deliverables.Be the schedule owner and complete weekly updates of the MS Project schedule.Assist in planning and scheduling project activities, ensuring alignment with timelines and goals.Maintain and update project documentation, reports, and records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for team members.Support the Project Manager in monitoring budgets, preparing reports, and identifying any variances.Prepare and co-ordinate the gathering of inputs and materials for use at regular project meetings.If successful, you will be rewarded with:5:2 Family Friendly Roster.11.5% Superannuation Contribution on ALL hours worked.Highly competitive industry rates.Dedicated Senior Consultant for Candidate Care.Weekly Pay + Access to Chandler Macleod's EAP Programme.Huge focus on safety and welfare of all contractors.What Skill Set Do I Require?This role requires excellent organisation, communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Strong safety culture.Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in a project coordination or similar role, ideally within the mining sector.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience with MS project schedules.Experience working with engineering service providers.Join Our Vision:If you are a passionate and dedicated Project Coordinator looking to work your dream job on a super family-friendly 5:2 roster, we invite you to apply and join us in shaping the future of mining.At Chandler Macleod, we are committed to fostering a diverse workforce where everyone is welcome.
