The organisation is now looking for a Project Management Office (PMO) Manager to set up the PMO and lead organisation-wide strategic projects.
The PositionLeading a small team, the PMO Manager ensures that enterprise-wide projects align with the organisation's strategic goals.
They work closely with senior executives to select and prioritise projects that contribute to achieving overall business objectives.
Additionally, the PMO Manager will ensure that projects are delivered with standardised execution - including reporting on progress and alignment with strategic initiatives - as well as developing and monitoring budgets, timelines, risks, quality, governance, and of course, ensuring successful delivery.
The PersonTo be successful in this role you will have:
Set up a PMO from scratch, or at least significantly enhanced an existing oneSignificant experience in project management, especially with larger projects within large, complex organisationsProactive management and leadership skills in organisation-wide (not solely ICT) projects, from ideation to implementation; delivered effectively, on time, and on budgetFormulated and created impactful business cases for key strategic initiatives, establishing mechanisms to track benefits and drive resultsDeveloped tools for project reporting and financial modellingStrong knowledge of, passion for, and values alignment with, the NFP Community SectorWhat's on offerThe opportunity to create meaningful organisation-wide strategic project delivery and to contribute to the overall success of this community group.
On offer is a salary of $160K plus superannuation, and attractive PBI/NFP salary packaging benefits are also available.
Flexible working arrangements including hybrid/WFH work arrangements are also offered, along with a host of other benefits ranging from discounted health insurance and free flu shots, to an EAP and 17.5% leave loading.
