Sales Trust Accountant

Our client is looking for their next team player to join the head office and work across several offices.
Real Estate Sales Trust/General Accounting experience is essential for this position.

About the position:
Day to day Sales trust accounting activities such as:Daily receipting (inc. batch deposits)Daily bank reconciliationsProperty advertising and commission Invoice entryCommission management (inc. Agency and Agent splits)Settlement releases (all types: S24, S27, Settlement)Processing conjunctional and referral chargesEntry of sale details (Purchaser, Sale particulars, PSOL etc)Trust adjustments and journalsBank batch file generation and uploading to bank systemsRefundsEnd-of-month close proceduresEnd-of-financial-year proceduresTrust ReportingTrust balancing error investigationAttend regular team and various office meetings when requiredLiaise with all stakeholdersEnsure trust accounting is conducted in complianceConduct training where requiredAdhoc accounts-related dutiesHave fun and enjoy being a part of a great teamIf you have experience in Trust accounting and general accounts (no payroll) we would love to chat with you about this rare opportunity.
