We are currently seeking an experienced Electrician Service Delivery Lead with exposure to Project Management to join our Service team in Sydney.
Reporting to the State Service Manager, this role will leverage your extensive experience in the Electrical and Automation industry and technical proficiency to supervise and guide a team.
Your primary focus will be to assist major asset owners in implementing advanced control systems, enhancing operational efficiency, and optimising the overall value and productivity of their assets and operations.
Key responsibilities Successfully deliver Projects up to $250k. Manage the full lifecycle of automation projects from estimation to commissioning. Provide effective leadership and direction to the delivery team. Account and portfolio management of Service customers. Update and maintain the CRM, forecast and report on project performance. Essential skills and experience : Proven track record in project management within the industrial automation sector. Demonstrated proficiency in overseeing the design and construction of industrial electrical and control systems across all phases: concept, design, construction, and commissioning. Ability to direct engineering and construction personnel in their daily duties and overall project goals. Proven ability to bid manage and tender small to medium work packages. Strong understanding of contract negotiation and administration. Proven ability to apply project management methodology. Exceptional planning and organisation skills. A strong focus on delivering agreed outcomes. Analytical mindset and adept decision-making skills. Working knowledge of effective account/client management techniques. Key requirements Project Management qualification and accreditation with the Australian Institute of Project Management or equivalent organisation is desirable, or working toward a qualification. Experience as a Project Manager within the automation industry or similar environment. Experience in finance and cost management. Must have the right to work in Australia.
