We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Baristas and Front of House Staff.
Position Overview : As a Barista and Front of House Staff member at Pearl Bay, you will play a crucial role in creating a memorable experience for our guests.
You will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a smooth front-of-house operation.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and food, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities : Barista Duties : Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso drinks, including lattes, cappuccinos, and specialty beverages.Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment with precision and care.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and work area.Assist in creating and maintaining the café's drink menu, including seasonal specials and promotions.Provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests about coffee and tea options.Ensure high standards of quality and consistency in every drink served.Front of House Duties : Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.Manage seating arrangements, take reservations, and handle guest inquiries.Take and process food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.Deliver food and drinks to tables, ensuring that orders are correct and meet presentation standards.Address and resolve any guest concerns or issues promptly and courteously.Assist with setting up and clearing tables, as well as maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.Qualifications : Previous experience as a barista or in a similar front-of-house role is preferred but not required.Strong communication and customer service skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.Knowledge of coffee and espresso drinks is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.Friendly, positive attitude with a strong work ethic.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.Benefits : Competitive hourly wage plus tips.Opportunities for career growth and development.Employee discounts on food and beverages.A supportive and inclusive work environment.Job Types : Casual, Apprenticeship
