Join Our Team as Front of House Manager at Van Wegen's Artisan Pies and Sourdough Are you passionate about creating memorable customer experiences?
We're seeking a Front-of-House Manager to lead our small team in Mooloolaba.
In this pivotal role, you'll ensure our front-of-house operations run smoothly while delivering exceptional service in a warm and welcoming environment.
What We Offer: Flexible work schedule: 4-5 days a week (30-38 hours), Monday to Friday (weekends off).A friendly and supportive team culture.The bakery closed on public holidays.Your Responsibilities: Lead and manage the front-of-house team, including recruitment, scheduling, mentoring, and training.Ensure outstanding customer service by greeting guests, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, upholding the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.Stay informed about Workplace Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations.Oversee FOH inventory requirements, including stock ordering and building strong relationships with suppliers.Supervise the presentation and replenishment of baked goods in display cases.Collaborate with the bakery team for seamless operations between the front and back of house.Manage cash and card transactions, ensuring daily reconciliations with POS reports.What We're Looking For: Proven experience as a front-of-house manager or in a similar hospitality role.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire.Excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for creating exceptional experiences.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the adaptability to handle changing circumstances.Proficiency in point-of-sale and rostering systems.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of coffee and barista skills is a plusIf you're ready to take the next step in your career and be part of our team, we'd love to hear from you
