Analyst Financial Planning And Analysis, Head Office

The Opportunity Delaware North Australia is now seeking an experienced CA/CPA qualified Financial Analyst to join the Head Office team based in Docklands, Melbourne on a long term contract.
This role has accountability to provide sound advice to assist the business in understanding profit drivers and business performance.
This will be achieved through historical and forecast financial analysis, variance analysis, commentary and providing recommendations to the business.

What you will do? Deliver periodical analysis of P&L performance, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow against key benchmarks (e.g., forecast, budget, prior year, etc.
)Create tools and financial models that facilitate effective decisions makingOptimise financial systems to extrapolate and interpret meaningful data to respond to stakeholder requestsCritically assess existing processes/financial models and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectivenessProvide specialist financial advice and training to other team membersProvide support in respect of any ad hoc analysis, forecasting, budgeting, business improvement initiatives and business development activities.Physical Requirements Tertiary Qualifications in Finance/Accounting or related discipline CPA/CA qualifiedProven skills (intermediate to advanced) in ExcelExperience in accounting, analytical or related commercial experienceExcellent written & verbal communicationDemonstrated success in managing & working with multiple stakeholders with the interpersonal skills to matchAbility to work autonomously, under pressure and to strict multiple deadlinesMeticulous attention to detailExperience with OneStream will be well regarded.Who We Are None Required
