We are a registered charity and Tier 1 Community Housing Provider managing over 1200 properties providing housing, accommodation and support for women and children.
About the role: Ability to understand and interpret relevant industrial instruments, Fair Work Act, and employment or statutory legislation.Provide confidential, timely advice and coaching to the SMT on employee relations matters including performance management, workforce planning, employment procedures, and staff engagement.In collaboration with the CEO and senior leadership team, define and deliver HR change initiatives, including the documenting or automating of key people processes.Developing, updating, and monitoring compliance with key HR policies and procedures.Driving and supporting our talent acquisition processes by supporting leaders to attract, interview, and onboard new hires.Coaching and developing the leadership team to drive engagement and build high-performance teams.Creating and contributing to the long-term organizational goals for all aspects of People & Culture accountabilities including employee wellbeing, positive workplace culture, diversity, inclusion, and equity.Coordinating learning and development initiatives across the organization and championing the professional development of our team, ensuring everyone has the opportunities they need to grow and thrive.Managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle activities, from onboarding through to clear growth paths and ensuring a positive off-boarding experience.Updating employee records, letters, and variations, communicating changes to relevant stakeholder departments such as payroll, and supporting managers with variations to their team.About you: You will have significant expertise and experience in a similar P&C position and a proven track record in delivering successful P&C outcomes.You are dynamic, pragmatic, and forward-thinking.You have a strategic mindset and enjoy driving business improvements that will enhance employee engagement, performance, and capability.You thrive in a standalone role and take a partnership approach with leaders and key stakeholders.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing people initiatives that align with our business objectives.This role requires someone who can anticipate future organisational needs, drive cultural transformation, and create an environment where both the people and the organisation can thrive.Experience in leading change and influencing senior leadership is essential to succeed in this position.Why WHC, what's in it for you?
