THE ROLEFix network is on the hunt for a passionate, motivated and enthusiastic type to join our team in the role of a Marketing and Communications Specialist.
Reporting to the Head of Business, the Marketing and Communications Specialist will drive planning and execution of a wide range of marketing and communications activities across all relevant Fix Network brands and products, including supporting with event management and planning.
Duties will consist of but not be limited to the following key areas: Work collaboratively with global and local corporate team members to support the development and implementation of brand specific marketing strategies including relevant content topics to reach the company's target customers, based on brand themes, and driven to achieve Marketing goals.Develop and execute print marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility.Collaborate with design teams to create visually appealing and effective print materials.Monitor and analyze the performance of print campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed.Engage with Fix network franchisees regarding Fix Network digital marketing and social media strategies.Plan and implement digital marketing campaigns across various channels (social media, email, website).Create engaging content for online platforms to increase brand awareness and driveAnalyze digital marketing metrics to measure the success of campaigns and optimize future efforts.Manage online reputation across all platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, GMB and LinkedIn, etc.
)Draft and edit compelling press releases to announce company news, product launches, and other relevant updates.Cultivate relationships with media outlets and journalists to secure coverage.Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify newsworthy opportunities.Analyse, recommend and implement improvements on all website and social media channels, using data collected in partnership with internal stakeholders.Support paid media campaigns including execution of SEM, paid digital and affiliate marketing initiatives, including development of compelling content and creatives.Support global corporate marketing team with SEO strategies, onsite optimization and link building activities for the purpose of increasing organic keyword exposure for website traffic.Manage internal communication platforms to facilitate efficient and transparent information flow.Coordinate and execute corporate events, including conferences, and industry events / exhibitions.Work closely with vendors, sponsors, and internal teams to ensure successful event planning and execution.Evaluate the success of events through post-event analysis and feedback collection.
Coordinate and execute both virtual and in-person events, including conferences, webinars, and product launches.Other duties as assigned.
THE PERSONThe successful applicant needs to be driven by success and have a minimum of three (3) years' experience in a similar role.
Candidates with relevant qualifications are highly regarded, or alternatively, must have sufficient experience in lieu of qualifications.
Our ideal candidate has a post-secondary diploma in marketing, communications, digital media or related field.
