Your New Role Looks Like This:
Join us as a Commercial Manager, Life , where you'll play a pivotal part in supporting the delivery of the Life business' strategic and commercial objectives.
Australian Unity's Life business is a market leading provider of Investment, Education and Funeral Bond products and this role offers a unique blend of day to day business management, strategic support, business development, and stakeholder engagement, providing you with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on this exciting business.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Support the Life leadership team in day-to-day business management, identifying ways to enhance effectiveness.
Draft board reports and deliver high-quality management reporting.
Deliver regular reporting to external business partners as required under agreements.
Collaborate on key initiatives to deliver exceptional performance and customer value.
Support the execution of strategic growth initiatives, including M&A and business development opportunities.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities.
Develop and deliver compelling presentations for clients and business partners.
Cultivate a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity.
Build productive relationships across the platform and Group to achieve strategic objectives.
Collaborate on key initiatives to deliver exceptional performance and customer value.

You'll play an active role behind the scenes, contributing to high-impact projects and initiatives that shape the direction of our business.
About You:
Tertiary qualification – Business, Finance or related discipline.
Sound understanding of the Funds Management and Financial Advice sectors.
Commercial acumen and an advanced understanding of business growth levers.
The ability to project manage initiatives that affect many people with diverse interests and perspectives.
Developed negotiation skills.
