ROLE OVERVIEW As the Sales Director at DigiRen, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our consulting business nationally.
You will be responsible for managing and driving sales of consulting engagements, including both short-term advisory projects and longer-term programmatic initiatives.
Your primary focus will be on customer acquisition to support business growth.
Additionally, you will foster strong relationships with vendors and partners, collaborate with the General Managers (GM) on go-to-market strategies, and advocate for customers to ensure high-quality outcomes.
This is a senior business role that reports directly to the CEO.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Key Responsibilities:
Business Development Sales Management: Lead and manage the sales process within your assigned geography to achieve and exceed sales targets for both short advisory projects and longer programmatic initiatives.
Contracting and Proposals: Manage the contracting process, including developing and presenting compelling proposals to prospective clients.
Lead Generation: Develop and execute lead generation strategies to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
Customer Acquisition: Develop and implement strategies to acquire new customers and expand the client base.
Customer Retention: Drive customer retention through follow-on sales and by ensuring ongoing client engagement and satisfaction.
Reporting and Analytics: Monitor sales performance, generate reports, and provide insights to senior management.
Partnerships and Market Engagement Vendor and Partner Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and partners to enhance service offerings and drive business growth.
Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with the CCO and GM to develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
Requirements 10+ years of experience selling IT consulting/professional services.
Proven success in account management, demand generation, business development or sales within the technology consulting sector.
Strong account planning and disciplined forecasting abilities.
C' level presence and excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key decision-makers.
Deep and trusted connections in industry across Australia.
High-level commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
Ability to travel to client locations within Australia when needed.
