We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Category to join our Marketing & Innovation team.
Reporting into the Chief Commercial Officer, you will lead the charge on innovation and strategic category growth.
This role offers a unique opportunity to influence Bulla's 2-5 year roadmap, develop new product platforms, and establish Bulla as a preferred supplier through bespoke category solutions.
Your responsibilities will include: Drive Blue Sky thinking and identify profitable product opportunities for the Chilled & Frozen segments.Continue to build equity in the Bulla Masterbrand through relevant NPDBe an in-house research agency for validating 12-18-month line extensions/rotationsCollaborate with the marketing team to validate product concepts and support innovation initiatives.Oversee the customer planning process across all channels, providing insights for brand and customer strategy.Foster a culture of strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement.Build and lead a high-performing team focused on consumer insights and shopper behaviour.Lead category analysis and development, shaping brand equity and new product initiatives.Develop and share a strategic roadmap of trends and products for future growth.Collaborate on pricing strategies and promotional frameworks to optimise ROI.Participate in leadership forums, including board meetings and town halls.You will have: A minimum of 10 years in Category/Sales/Marketing, with at least 5 years in Category Development or Trade Marketing.Extensive experience with innovation processes and 'stage gate' methodology.Strong analytical skills, with proven success in category performance improvement.Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Proficiency with data management tools like Aztec, and Microsoft Office Suite.Current Australian Driver's LicenceWhat we can offer you: Hybrid working model with flexible work-from-home arrangements.Opportunity for professional growth within a supportive team environment.A great cultural environment in a proud, Australian family-owned businessShort-Term Incentive ProgramCorporate clothing allowanceDelicious take-home productFree parking at all our sitesHow to apply: This is a rare and exciting opportunity within a reputable family business.
