About the Opportunity: Delany College is seeking a Secondary TAS Leader of Learning to lead their collaborative team on a Permanent Full-time basis.The successful candidate will demonstrate ability in teaching TAS, Design and Technology.
VET Construction an advantage.
Required skills for the role: Qualified to teach and lead TAS.
Ability to create connections and source alternate pathways to enable students to achieve their passionExtensive pedagogical knowledge base and understanding of how the identified subject areas are learned, what affects students' opportunities to learn the subject matter and how the learning and teaching of the subject matter can be enhancedUnderstanding of how to differentiate learning to cater for students' needs in order to maximise student learningSound understanding of the learning environments, lesson plans, use of technology, teaching practices and delivery of assessment and learning feedbackCommitted to the continual improvement of their teaching practice and take opportunities for personal professional developmentWork creatively and constructively within a range of 'communities' inside and beyond the school and set high, achievable goals for themselves and their studentsAble to motivate students to achieve and to develop a life-long love of learningQualification & Experience: Tertiary qualifications in EducationEligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)Statements of ServiceWorking with Children Check clearance (essential)Exceptional communication skillsThere are many great things that Delany College has to offer
