System AdministratorYour combination of people skills and system administrator expertise makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another.
What if you could use those skills to improve the technology supporting the national security mission?
We're looking for a system administrator with a background in acquiring, configuring, and maintaining computer servers, operating systems, networks, and network file systems to help us optimize next-generation systems in support of the national security space mission.
As a system administrator on our project, you'll ensure systems are secure, operable, and available.
You'll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management and implement solutions to improve system status.
Your system administrator expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network.
You'll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning.
This is an opportunity to broaden your skill set into areas like cloud computing and network security.

You Have: Experience with acquiring, configuring, and maintaining computer servers, operating systems, networks, and network file systemsExperience troubleshooting and providing technical support to usersExperience creating and managing system permissions and user accountsExperience performing regular security tests and security monitoringExperience maintaining networks and network file systemsKnowledge of coding, networking, problem-solving, and cloud computingAbility to upgrade, install, and configure application software and computer hardwareTS/SCI clearance with a polygraphBachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field and 7+ years of experience as a System Engineer, or 10+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer in lieu of a degreeClearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD).
The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
