About the Role
Are you a motivated and experienced Senior System Administrator with a knack for inspiring those around you?
This is more than just a desk job; we're looking for a leader ready to shape and drive a team, someone who can motivate and mentor two system administrators, and work directly with our CIO to achieve impactful results.
As our Senior System Administrator, you'll play a central role in our ongoing technology uplift, overseeing key systems, infrastructure, and network modernization initiatives.
You'll collaborate with a range of stakeholders, using your strong communication skills to translate complex technical details for senior leadership and ensuring alignment across the business.
Working in our Richmond office 5 days a week, you'll actively work to deliver business outcomes, bringing fresh ideas to the table and seeing them through to completion.

What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone with a strong technical foundation, along with some experience in team leadership/motivation and delivering impactful results.
Specific skills and experiences include:
Proven experience as a Senior System & Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar role.Strong hands-on expertise working within a hybrid cloud environment, with a particular focus on Azure.Strong hands-on expertise with on-premise infrastructure, Windows Servers, Exchange, Active Directory, VMware & Citrix, Microsoft 365, Sharepoint, InTunes, Azure Cloud, hybrid data center infrastructure.Best practices experience in managing security, backups, DR, EDR/XDR.Workplace device onboarding and management experience for employee laptops, servers, phones, office networks, printers, and security cameras.Intra office network connectivity and SD-WAN experience is highly regarded.Experience with modernization & transformation programs to address aging on-premises infrastructure and adopt cloud computing platforms.
Azure Cloud experience is mandatory.Demonstrated experience & interest in running the internal staff-facing support system and delivering exceptional staff experience through the support center.Ability to motivate and guide team members, fostering a positive team culture.Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.Proactive approach to staying updated with emerging technologies and best practices.Knowledge of best practices in cybersecurity to protect infrastructure and data.
