The opportunity ASIO is seeking exceptional Senior Technical Specialists with a focus on Solution Architecture in Networks or Platform Systems to drive our cutting-edge capability program.
As a key member of our diverse team of technical specialists, you'll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and supporting the ICT systems and infrastructure that underpin ASIO's critical mission.
Role responsibilities The Senior Technical Specialist is responsible for providing strategic technical leadership and expertise in the design, implementation, and operation of ASIO's Enterprise environments.
This role is critical in ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of ASIO's ICT Systems.
Senior Technical Specialist – Senior Network Engineer/Architect Provide technical guidance and direction to the Network Services team.Design, develop, and maintain ASIO's network architecture.Lead the design, implementation, and testing of network infrastructure projects.Stay up-to-date with emerging network technologies and trends.Identify and manage technical and security risks associated with network infrastructure.Ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards.Share technical knowledge and expertise with other team members.Senior Technical Specialist – Solutions Architect Platforms Systems Provide technical guidance and direction to the Server Services team.Design, develop, and maintain ASIO's enterprise environments.Lead the design, implementation, and testing of platform infrastructure projects.Stay up-to-date with emerging enterprise technologies and trends.Identify and manage technical and security risks associated with server, storage, virtualisation and containerisation platforms.Ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards.Set technical direction and provide leadership and mentorship.What you will bring For the Senior Technical Specialist – Senior Network Engineer/Architect role, we invite applications from people with the following attributes:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in information technology, computer science or related disciplines.5 or more years of experience in network administration or engineering.Expertise in Cisco routing, switching and access platforms.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.For the Senior Technical Specialist – Solutions Architect Platforms Systems role, we invite applications from people with the following attributes:
