Responsibilities:
Collect in-country customs clearance policies and regulations, monitor real-time changes in customs and related government department policies.
Monitor updates on customs regulations and trade policies that may impact company operations, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
Responsible for the operation of Customs in the country, providing customers with high-quality delivery and fulfillment services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, supply chain, and legal departments, to develop strategies for optimizing customs processes and reducing costs.
Participate in the construction of the customs capacity system to capture in-country needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, international trade, logistics or equivalent practical experience.
Proficiency in English and Spanish is required for this role.
5 years of experience working with customs regulations, import/export documentation requirements.
Familiarity with Mexican cross-border B2C customs clearance processes.
Proven experience in using data to generate insights and solve complex problems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
