Assistant in Nursing - Residential Age Care We are a privately owned and operated residential age care facility located in North Mackay, Queensland .
We provide care and accommodation for 63 residents in single rooms.
We provide person-centred care in a caring environment where both residents, their families, and staff are supported.
Qualifications & Experience
Completion of Certificate III or IV or working towards this is desirable.
Experience in age care is advantageous.
Must have or have applied for a current NDIS Worker Screening clearance.
Tasks & Responsibilities
The role involves the provision of the Activities of Daily Living, inclusive of basic clinical care and psychosocial wellbeing of the residents.
Literacy and numeracy skills required for reporting and documentation processes.
Knowledge of the Accreditation system and its responsibilities is an advantage.
Knowledge of PLST Model of care intervention is an advantage.
Consciousness of self-wellbeing, staff and resident well-being, practising safe work skills.
The ability to be flexible, have good time management skills, and task prioritization skills.
Must be available for various shifts and alternate weekends as required.
Work in a supportive team environment.
To be able to laugh and work well in a team.
Roster to suit preference of hours and days.
