Job Summary CBC Facilities Maintenance Pty Ltd are at an exciting growth point in their journey.
Due to growth, we have a new opportunity for a Business Development and Proposal Manager to join our Business Development Team.
The Business Development and Proposal Manager will have overall responsibility for ensuring CBC's business development strategy is effectively executed at an operational level.

You will use your commercial knowledge and insights to deliver results whilst operating creatively to drive optimum operational performance, in a positive and collaborative team environment.
The position will report into the Executive Leadership Team and have strong internal relationships with operations leaders across each state.
Scope of role: Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team to take responsibility for identifying, assessing, converting strategic business opportunities and negotiating partnerships Maintain and build trusted relationships with key clients and stakeholders Manage and investigate new business opportunities Oversee, coordinate and manage tender submissions as required Develop a network of key contacts Monitor competitors, market conditions and service delivery Support the Executive Leadership Team to oversee, coordinate and manage multiple tender submissions as required Source appropriate subcontractors and ensure favorable terms are obtained in accordance with company protocols Build and maintain strong networks, service delivery partnerships and effective referral pathways About you: Proven success in business development and tender management Facilities Management or Construction experience is highly desirable A mix of strategic and operational experience Experience leading contract and tender negotiations High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships across multiple levels of stakeholders Excellent influencing and negotiating skills Adaptable with the ability to flex between strategic and operational Demonstrated capacity to prepare high-quality written material and to make oral presentations that meet the needs of a wide range of audiences in a compelling way Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage conflicting deadlines This is an exciting role for someone looking to join a business that holds an excellent reputation in the market and is in a strong position to build on their current success.
