Join us as a Membership Consultant , supporting the upcoming rate review period in a hybrid role based in Melbourne .
This short-term contract offers an excellent opportunity to provide exceptional service while building valuable experience.
About the Role Process membership applications, cancellations, and cover changes with speed and accuracy.
Address member inquiries, escalating complex cases when necessary.
Provide call centre support by taking calls from members as needed.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless service and meet deadlines.
Maintain compliance and contribute to continuous process improvements.
What You'll Bring: Proven experience in customer service, incorporating administrative tasks (desirable).
The ability to identify and solve complex problems with a solutions-focused mindset.
Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical skills to assess information and determine suitable solutions.
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
Experience in call centre work, including assisting members over the phone.
Previous experience in Private Health Insurance (PHI) or claims processing (highly regarded).
