Paddock Bakery is on the hunt for a new Assistant Manager. This is your opportunity to take a guiding role in the operations of one of the Gold Coast's favourite venues.Established in 2014, Paddock Bakery quickly put itself on the map with delectable treats, to-die-for breakfasts, and of course, an incredible coffee offering. The little idyllic Queenslander house in Burleigh was quickly transformed into a thriving hospitality hotspot and has been growing ever since. Now housing 300 seats across several rooms and levels, all within our tranquil neighbourhood setting and operating from 6am to 3pm, 7 days a week.We are searching for an experienced industry hand to assist in the day-to-day management of the venue. Overseeing our team of 90 people, you will be responsible for all facets of the venue's operation including assisting with ordering, rostering, compliance, team training, and ensuring our high standards are consistently adhered to.The successful candidate will be supported by a team of supervisors, kitchen management, and our head barista, and they will report directly to the venue manager. With endless opportunities to grow within an ever-expanding hospitality group, this position will be ideally suited to a career-minded hospitality professional.The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate extensive management experience, preferably within a high-intensity venue but will require at a minimum:1 year people management experienceExperience with leading and/or working within large teamsExperience maintaining high standards of product quality and staff performanceEnsuring above and beyond dedication to customer serviceExperience with counting and reconciling tillsQLD RSA CertificateThis is a full-time, salaried position.
