SPEARHEAD THE ADOPTION OF OUR INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS IN QUEENSLAND The Opportunity: As the Business Development Manager, you will be the driving force behind the growth and adoption of Komatsu's Smart Construction solutions within Queensland.
Your key responsibilities will include: Empower sales teams to effectively sell Smart Construction products, showcasing key technological advantages over competitorsChampion tech adoption in quarrying and mining, including Smart Quarry SiteIntroduce customers to innovations like Edge 2 and Dashboard for drone dataOffer on-site/remote support: localisation, setup, calibration, and 3D data guidance.Role located: Wacol, QLD – regular travel to customer sites throughout Queensland
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm
This role offers the chance to: Work with a diverse range of cutting-edge technologies, including intelligent Machine Control (iMC), drone data processing solutions, aftermarket machine control systems, and more.Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across various departments, including Technical Advisors, Sales Managers, and Operations Managers, to ensure seamless customer support and resource utilization.Build strong relationships with customers at all levels, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for Komatsu's Smart Construction solutions.Komatsu benefits: Families Policy: 16 weeks of paid primary carer parental leave, 4 weeks of secondary carer leave, plus many more family friendly benefitsFinancial:Company funded Income Protection InsuranceCareer:Recognition, awards, flexibility, further education studies and internal career developmentHealth:Corporate discount with Bupa, Total Wellbeing Solution with Telus HealthTravel:Discounts with Avis, Qantas, Crown, IHG and travel agentsYearly Bonus: Potential to receive a yearly bonusReferral Program: Earn $3,000 for referring a new employee to KomatsuWhat we are looking for: A deep understanding of digital site systems and applications, coupled with hands-on experience in integrated machine control setup, calibration, operation, and training.Proven expertise in aftermarket positioning, weighing systems, or similar technology installations, encompassing calibration, operation, and training.A commitment to customer satisfaction and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Exceptional presentation skills to effectively promote solutions to a diverse customer base.Strong teamwork orientation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to convey information clearly and concisely to management, colleagues, and customers.A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, follow through on commitments, and provide regular progress updates.A passion for innovation and continuous improvement, seeking opportunities to enhance processes and deliver exceptional value to both Komatsu and its customers.A strong commitment to workplace safety, adhering to and promoting safety policies to ensure a secure and productive work environment.The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sensitivity.Qualifications: While not mandatory, relevant qualifications in a technical field are highly regarded.
