As a Senior Customer Delivery Architect (CDA) in FSI, you will be focusing on helping FSI customers build or migrate their business workloads on AWS.
From ideation through to build and then to operate, AWS ProServe is committed to helping customers accelerate their time-to-value on AWS.
The Senior CDA has an ANZ wide remit in the Professional Services team focused on FSI.
Their focus will be on envisaging transformational and innovative programs, through the end-to-end business value realization cycle with AWS Professional Services.
Successful candidates will have executive level experience in leading, defining, designing and deploying enterprise level strategic solutions in the FSI domain.
Domain expertise should include deep, practical and hands-on understanding of Core/ Mobile/ Digital Banking solutions.
Key job responsibilities
Strategic Direction and Development:
- Define and develop overall strategic direction for AWS customers and internal AWS teams designing, building, optimizing, transforming, or otherwise migrating business applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
- Engage with C-level executives to guide their strategic technology initiatives and support their business applications transformation journeys.
- Participate in deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions and products built on AWS, while ensuring solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
- Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customer organizations to enable them to become cloud advocates.
- Industry Leadership: Identify common customer interest in ANZ and innovate new technology offerings.
Work with the global FSI Industry team to stay ahead of the leading-edge platform services and ProServe technology offerings.
Leadership and Collaboration:
- Drive the development of outcome-based business-IT solution proposals in collaboration with sales and solution architecture teams.
- Act as the AWS executive technical sponsor for strategic customer initiatives, ensuring alignment with AWS's Global Service offerings and the customer's strategic goals.
- Ensure that solutions across strategic programs adhere to AWS's enterprise architecture and security best practices and principles, and achieve intended business outcomes.
- Mentor and lead internal teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge, sales, and delivery content amongst the AWS Professional Services community.
Partnership Development:
- Engage with system integrators and strategic Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) across various customer scenarios to enhance solution offerings.
- Identify common patterns in customer needs to drive standardization and repeatability in AWS solutions.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 10+ years of consulting experience working with FSI solutions or working as a subject matter expert (SME) in a financial services organization.
- 10+ years of experience in developing long-term strategies around product/ solution roadmap with execution programs to deliver on envisioned strategy.
- Recent and demonstrable experience with FSI domain workloads e.g., Core Banking.
- Ability to create compelling customer proposals and executive-level presentation skills.
- Expert level understanding of Cloud Computing, Hybrid, Multicloud environments.
- Proficiency in cloud technology value proposition, principles, and services including infrastructure, business applications, data management, security, application platforms, and consumer-facing technology.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Hands-on technical experience & expertise in technology automation, implementation, integration, and/or deployment.
- Experience building data or machine learning pipelines, incl.
deep learning, GenAI, LLM, etc.
as well as hands-on experience on AWS services like SageMaker and Bedrock.
- Programming skills: Python, R, SQL, Java, Julia, Scala, Spark/Numpy/Pandas/scikit, JavaScript.
AWS certifications, AWS engagement delivery experience or other public cloud certifications.
