A leading Melbourne Drainage Company operates a successful business providing specialized services for the water utilities sector.
We are experiencing ongoing growth and are seeking a Senior Supervisor to join the business.
Your new role Working closely with the senior management team, this role requires a proactive and dynamic individual with hands-on experience in a similar role.
You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running and coordinating the projects.
Key duties will include: Lead overall site management, taking responsibility for the coordination of crews, materials, and equipment across multiple project sites.Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout all stages of construction.Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring alignment with budget and scheduled milestones.Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, addressing project demands and ensuring transparent communication and accountability.Oversee and direct daily on-site construction activities to ensure project targets are met, focusing on quality, safety, and efficiency.Manage on-site teams, coordinate resources, and ensure that all work aligns with project specifications and timelines.Conduct regular inspections and maintain strict adherence to quality control standards.Work closely with contractors and subcontractors to address and resolve any on-site challenges or delays.What you'll need to succeed As a strong applicant for the Senior Supervisor role, you will ideally have significant experience in the drainage and water construction sector; be self-motivated, positive, and have a can-do attitude; an excellent communicator with the ability to build rapport and relationships with stakeholders.
