Field Maintenance – Leading Hand (MCC)About the Role An outstanding opportunity has become available for a Leading Hand Maintenance fitter to join the team at Maules Creek.
This position is day-shift only working 7 / 7 roster.
What You'll DoLead the team of fitters giving guidance and be a proactive leader with a "can do" attitude.Complete planned, unplanned and corrective maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with Whitehaven Coal's Occupational Health and Safety Standards.Ensure that all incidents, accidents and hazards are reported and followed up correctly to minimise and manage risk.Inspect equipment and raise job requests on any defective parts / components found.Step up to supervise during planned shutdowns.What You'll BringHold a relevant trade certificate with demonstrated experience with mobile plant equipment.Possess a current Unencumbered New South Wales "C" Class Driver's Licence.Able to communicate effectively with demonstrated leadership experience.Demonstrate good time management.Adherence and promotion of our STRIVE Values (Safety, Teamwork, Respect, Integrity, Value, Excellence).Demonstrated supervision experience.Why Whitehaven Coal?Career Development, Mentorship, and Coaching.Full Relocation Packages | Temporary Accommodation.Access to Salary Packaging | $1k Company Shares | $4k Refer a Friend Scheme.Rewards and recognition through our STRIVE Initiative.26 Weeks Paid Parental Leave | 3 Weeks Personal Leave | 5 Weeks Annual Leave.Whitehaven Coal is committed to increasing the representation of women and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the workplace.
