About the role Assist the Reservations Manager in coordinating the management of all reservations and to maximise yield management.
Maximise efficiency of the reservations team.
Ensure efficient and effective inter-department interaction within the hotel at all levels.
Be fully conversant with the hotel reservation system – Opera Cloud.
Ensure in conjunction with front office and accounts the AR setup and charge back authorities follow hotel credit procedures.
Ensure that average rate and occupancy is maximised.
Ensure that commissions are actioned correctly.
Ensure guaranteed bookings and cancellation fees are charged where appropriate.
Consistently deliver products and services that meet the quality standards and expectations of guests.
Complete any ad hoc task as requested by the Reservations Manager.
