We have an immediate opportunity for a Solution Architect based in Melbourne, Australia. Solution Architects are the technical experts in the technology sales process.
They combine strong technical skills and knowledge with good interpersonal and presentation skills.

The activities performed by an OutSystems Solution Architect are diverse - assisting with a high-level pitch of the OutSystems technology to a CIO, and working hands-on to develop a small proof of concept.
Job Responsibilities and Expectations: Work as an IT expert and evangelist while supporting customers in their technical evaluation process by delivering high quality presentations and demos.Work closely with the sales team in the creation of proposals that present a compelling reason to use the OutSystems Platform for their technical requirements.Understand the customers' IT architecture to clarify the strategic fit of the OutSystems technology within their IT ecosystem.Work together with the OutSystems Demo team in the delivery of successful Proofs of Concept (PoCs).Work with OutSystems partners to position OutSystems as the technology choice for the delivery of business solutions.Desired Skills and Experience: Minimum of 3 years related experience with a software company.BS/BA in computer science or similar.Knowledge of web development or mobile app development, preferably using Agile Development Methodologies.A broad understanding of business verticals and industries across Australia, including Commercial or other SMB segments.Excellent oral, written and presentation skills, with the ability to organize and present technical material in an easily understood manner.A high-level knowledge of IT products across common industries in Australia.Strong business acumen is a plus.Availability to travel.Working at OutSystems We do not have many rules, but we do have high standards and a culture of global collaboration.
