Carnival Australia is thrilled to announce an exciting new opportunity: We are hiring a full-time, permanent Queensland Business Development Manager for our Carnival Cruise Line brand Carnival Cruise Line has a newly created Business Development Manager role based in sunny QLD
Reporting into the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving Carnival's sales through the trade network within your assigned QLD territory.
Your role will involve building and maintaining strong partnerships with Travel Agents, supporting them with the latest sales tools, promotions, and best practices, to grow their Carnival Cruise Line business.

(post probation).Fantastic discount on cruises, onboard product launches, airline, and Hotel discounts through our partners.Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Build strong and sustainable relationships with agents already selling Carnival Cruise Line, while developing new partnerships with agents who have the potential to grow their business.Deliver engaging product education and training sessions to agents, enhancing their knowledge of Carnival Cruise Line.Create tailored business plans with agents to drive Carnival Cruise Line sales.Encourage agents to utilise online platforms to deepen their understanding of Carnival's product offerings.Assist with trade functions, product familiarisations, and ship walk-arounds to provide agents with firsthand experiences of Carnival's offerings.About You: You will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, with a strong background in customer service.
You will be adept at managing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely distribution of key materials.
You will be self-motivated and have the ability to work from the road.
Your attention to detail and proactive attitude will set you apart.
Plus, you will demonstrate flexibility, including the willingness to travel and work outside regular hours.

To be successful in the role, you will have demonstrated: 3 years of experience as a Business Development ManagerExperience in a travel, hospitality or entertainment sales positionProven client management and business development expertise.Exceptional communication skills, including public speaking experience with large groups.Strong relationship-building and influencing abilities.Self-motivation and the discipline to thrive in an autonomous role.Willingness to travel frequently across your territory, including attending functions on evenings or weekends as required.A passion for travel and cruising, ideally coupled with a deep understanding of the Queensland travel industry.Must be based in Brisbane region.We are seeking someone with the right attitude to fit into our fun and supportive culture so, if you meet the above requirements, have a down to earth personality and solid work ethic, please send your application for consideration.
