Job Description Purchasing: Oversee the purchasing of raw materials and packaging, ensuring quality and compliance with food safety standards.Inventory Coordination: Monitor and optimise stock levels to prevent shortages and reduce excess inventory.Supplier Relations: Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries and addressing any quality issues.Master Data Maintenance: Ensure accuracy of master data in the ERP system, conducting regular audits and updates.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with production, sales, and other departments to support demand forecasting and operational planning.Performance Analysis: Analyse supply chain performance metrics (KPIs) to identify trends and inform decision-making.Communication: Facilitate communication between departments, providing stock availability updates and delivery information.Supplier Meetings: Participate in meetings with suppliers to discuss performance, issues, and opportunities for improvement. The Successful Applicant The successful candidate for the Supply Chain Coordinator role will have strong organisational and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
They will possess excellent communication abilities to effectively collaborate with suppliers and internal teams.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential.
