Operations Manager – Croglin Ltd. Location: Penrith, Cumbria | Competitive Salary | Permanent, Full-Time | Flexible/Hybrid Working Available About Us: Croglin Ltd. makes bespoke crafted wooden packaging, working with a variety of high-end customers, including top global drinks brands.
We are based near the stunning Lake District and specialise in creating luxury packaging that reflects craftsmanship and innovation.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for an Operations Manager to join our team.
In this key role, you'll oversee everything from production to project management, making sure our operations run smoothly and in line with our high standards.
What You'll Do: Lead daily operations: Oversee production, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality. Manage projects: Handle timelines, budgets, and resources for bespoke packaging projects, ensuring they meet our clients' luxury expectations. Continuous improvement: Introduce improvements to increase efficiency and quality, while maintaining our innovative approach. Work with suppliers: Manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring deadlines and standards are met. Collaborate with the team: Work closely with our designers and craftsmen to deliver packaging that is as innovative as it is beautiful. Shape operational strategy: Help shape the future direction of our operations, as we expand into new markets. Who We're Looking For: Experience: You've got solid experience in operations management, ideally within manufacturing, packaging, or luxury goods. Leadership skills: You can lead teams confidently and manage projects from start to finish. Craftsmanship appreciation: You appreciate fine materials, especially wood, and have a passion for craftsmanship. Problem solver: You have strong problem-solving skills and experience in health & safety, quality control, and risk management. Sustainability focus: You're keen to drive improvements in sustainability and eco-friendly practices. Tech-savvy: You're comfortable using project management tools and Microsoft Office.
