With continued company growth and several exciting strategic projects in the pipeline, Fairbrother is looking for an experienced accounting/finance professional to join our Finance Team in the role of Finance Manager.
For over 50 years, Fairbrother has built a reputation for award-winning capabilities and outstanding quality and has offices located across Tasmania and Victoria.
This role will work closely with the CFO and the wider Finance Team to deliver the company's governance, financial and accounting needs as well as playing a pivotal role in establishing new systems and processes.
The role is permanent full-time and based at our head office located in Devonport.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Hold or have substantially completed professional accounting qualifications such as CA, CPA or relevant tertiary education.At least 2 years' experience at a level commensurate with the requirements of the role.Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and management skills.Demonstrated experience in project management particularly related to process and system improvements.Knowledge of accounting standards and their application.Experience with company statutory reporting requirements.Excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills.We are looking for someone with sound commercial acumen and experience in systems design and improvement who is adaptable and can flex with business needs and work well under pressure.
