Additional paid leave for every year of service (up to 5 extra days per year)As the Quality & Risk Manager, you will lead Built's continuous improvement in quality and risk management across the WA business unit.
This role ensures alignment with organisational goals, compliance with regulatory requirements, and delivery of value to the business and stakeholders through best practices in these key areas.
Here's what a typical day might look like for you:
Quality Assurance- Oversee quality management processes across projects, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.- Identify risks and areas for improvement in quality management.- Support teams in developing quality plans.- Lead proactive risk identification, mitigation, and communication across the project lifecycle.- Establish risk controls during tendering, design, and delivery.- Lead after care and defects on completed projects including management of associated budgets and costs.Technical Assurance- Provide technical oversight to ensure project designs meet Built's standards for quality, performance, and buildability.- Review design documentation for compliance with statutory requirements and project-specific conditions.Sustainability Initiatives- Implement sustainability initiatives to meet Built's environmental and social responsibility goals and ensure project teams integrate sustainability considerations into design and delivery.You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and working across an assortment of projects.

Strong construction-based technical and commercial acumen, people management, relationship-building capabilities, and program management expertise.Comprehensive understanding of quality assurance standards and risk management practices.Your strong background in risk management, coupled with your ability to design and implement systems and processes in a construction environment will hold you in good stead for the success of this role.
