With over 100 web applications, associated databases and APIs, real-time environmental modelling, public alerting and reporting and IoT data collection of over 650 remote locations - interesting and exciting work with purpose is never far away.
The Role You will be working closely with the Digital Integration Partner to write clean and secure code in a test-driven approach.
Create code that is reusable and open by defaultPlan and lead development based on sets of related user storiesBuild APIs following best practicesFind ways to improve the robustness of the system with a focus on resilience and stabilityCoach and mentor more junior colleaguesRequirements You will have a proven track record of effectively developing and deploying clean, open and secure code within a development team.
Good C#/.Net coding skillsSolid understanding of the Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environmentsGood understanding of containerisation technologiesGood understanding of API development and useReward Aside from working on meaningful projects that positively impact the people of Wales, the successful applicant for this Senior Application Developer role will be rewarded with the following:
