Operational emissions from the built environment contribute 28% of all greenhouse gas emissions globally, and to realise our Vision we are investing in our go to market strategy to further support our customers on their net zero journey.Our cutting-edge technology solutions and data-driven insights already help our customers reduce 22% on average or 100,000 tonnes of CO2 annually, however, for net zero by 2050 to be a reality we need to do more by continually enhancing our products.The Opportunityep&t is looking for a Senior Database Developer to join our Research & Development team, to design, develop, and maintain SQL databases.
They will be responsible for optimising the current SQL database and providing innovative technical solutions to maintain the large database.This is a fixed term 12-month contract position based in North Sydney under a hybrid work structure.
Your responsibilitiesLead the design, development, and optimisation of complex SQL databases to efficiently meet business requirements Proactively identify and address database performance issues to ensure scalability and responsivenessImplement robust security protocols and compliance measures to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory adherenceInvestigate and resolve complex database problems by leveraging deep expertise and experienceProvide technical leadership on database projects to guide the team in best practices and innovative solutionsEstablish and enforce SQL development coding standards and best practices.
