Management - Internal (Human Resources & Recruitment) Full time About the role
JMT Civil is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join their growing team in Gregory Hills, NSW.
This full-time role will be responsible for overseeing all human resource functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and organisational development.
As a key member of the leadership team, the HR Manager will play a crucial part in shaping the company's culture and driving strategic HR initiatives that support the organisation's broader business objectives.
What you'll be doing Develop and implement effective HR strategies and policies to support the company's growth and successManage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance reviews and offboardingProvide guidance and support to managers on HR-related matters, including employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and workplace disputesEnsure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulationsLead the design and delivery of employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and other people-focused activitiesAnalyse HR data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvementCollaborate with the leadership team to align HR strategies with the overall business objectivesWhat we're looking for Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar HR management role, preferably in the construction or civil engineering industryProven track record of developing and implementing effective HR policies and proceduresExcellent knowledge of Australian employment laws and regulationsStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organisationProficient in HR data analysis and the use of HR information systemsTertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related fieldWhat we offer
