Senior Accounts Receivable Officer

With supportive management, this a great chance to join a high performing and regarded Finance team.
A market leader, the company provides innovative Health & Beauty products within the retail industry across a range of traditional and modern channels.
The company has experienced unprecedented growth due to growing their product range and diversifying their product offering.
The Role This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door of a growing business, working with a small close knit finance team, with an Accounts Receivable team of 2 (1 x indirect report).
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be taking ownership of the Accounts Receivable/Credit Control function from the ground up with the capacity/ability to put your signature on the roles function and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiencies.
You can choose also to have the ability to finish early on Fridays by performing some minimal extra hours over the other 4 days.
Your primary duties will comprise of: Full function Accounts Receivable Collections (phone and email)- both large national/small accounts (approx.
2000 accounts) Assist supervision of 1x indirect report Debtor reports Refunds/rebates Invoicing Bank reconciliations (reconciling bank statements) Receipting Allocations/journals Managing Online platform Accounts Receivable – processing of 3rd party payments ie ZIP/Afterpay etc Handling Credit queries About You A team player and self-starter, you will be highly competent and knowledgeable across the whole Accounts Receivable function and have had senior experience where you have taken ownership of the Accounts Receivable/Credit function in a business.
The successful candidate will ideally had experience leading/motivating small teams; however, ambitious Senior Credit Controllers/Accounts Recievable Officers looking to take a step up are also encouraged to apply.
You will ideally possess the following: Min 5+ years' experience in a similar Accounts Receivable/Credit Control position High attention to detail Ability to work quickly and accurately to deadlines Ability to work autonomously.
