Accounts Receivable Officer Location: St Kilda Road, Melbourne Salary: Up to $67K + super ABOUT THE COMPANY We are working with a well-established organisation that operates across multiple retail brands in Australia and internationally.

CULTURE + BENEFITS Prime St Kilda Road location near the CBD Exclusive 50% staff discount across all brands Access to office sales with deeply discounted items Opportunities for professional development through in-house leadership courses Work with a collaborative, global finance team RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE Managing end-to-end cash receipts and reconciling daily transactions across multiple brands.
Validating, allocating and recording payments in the Accounts Receivable system.
Resolving discrepancies in cash and card receipts from POS systems.
Preparing accurate financial reports and ensuring timely processing of all transactions.
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to maintain accurate records.
Follow up all outstanding monies owed, produce debtors reports and send out statements.
Supporting the month-end closing process, including journal entries related to cash receipts.
All tasks associated in producing a company system invoice or credit note SKILLS + EXPERIENCE Previous experience in a cash receipts or similar role within retail or previous retail experience.
Strong understanding of POS systems and cash-handling processes.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage high transaction volumes.
Proficiency in Excel and financial systems.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
