This Australian company provides premium services in national road express specialised transportation and supply chain services.
They are respected and renowned for their strong company values and inclusive culture.

The role will be based onsite at their Derrimut operation before it relocates to Tullamarine next year.
The successful candidate needs to be comfortable travelling to both these locations.

Responsible for overseeing the HR function of the group of business units Working closely with the CHRO to deliver on business goals from an HR perspective and meet the Key Results Areas (KRAs) Implementing strategies, policies and programs including performance reviews, management, employee engagement, and remuneration & benefits Talent Acquisition and Management across the business, including driving a strong employer brand in the market Collaborate with Senior Managers and provide HR advice Train Managers on how to handle people issues effectively Use HR data to drive decision making and improve strategies Ensure all regulatory requirements are met for compliance and safety Lead and mentor the HR team - currently this role has one direct report Based onsite 5 days / week this role is pivotal in building and maintaining the company culture About you :
You will have proven leadership experience in an HR Management role with a minimum of 3 years leading a team, and 5+ years in Human Resources Given the environment and industry our preference is someone who's had recent experience within a blue collar business - ideally transport, logistics, manufacturing or construction You enjoy the operational side to HR.
Initially this role will be 75% operations and 25% strategic You can illustrate how you've affected positive change in an organisation, brought successful innovations, ideas and taken initiative Degree qualification majoring in Human Resources Next Steps :
