Role Kennedys is seeking a highly motivated Associate with 2-4 years' PQE to join our Insurance team based in our vibrant Sydney office.
Working closely with one of our specialist Partners, Llinos Kent, this is a unique opportunity for a motivated Associate to gain hands-on exposure to coverage and defence work across various insurance lines.
Team Kennedys is a leading global insurance law firm and has had a presence in Australia since 2006.
This is a very exciting time to join the team - our Australian practice has grown exponentially over the last 12 months thanks to our talented people and reputation in the global insurance market.
The team in Sydney has extensive experience across multiple lines of insurance work, with a particular depth of expertise in professional indemnity, financial institutions, directors' and officers' (D&O), medical malpractice, public and product liability, property and construction, energy, cyber, marine, transport, and employment.
You will join a team of highly experienced Special Counsel, Senior Associates, and fellow Associates whilst receiving first-class support from our dedicated Paralegals and Legal Secretaries – enabling you to thrive in the fast-paced world of insurance law.
Clients: General insurers and reinsurers Lloyds syndicates Global Health Insurers Who we are looking for: 2-4+ years' experience, with relevant defendant experience from a reputable insurance team Ability to run with matters autonomously under supervision You will possess excellent communication skills - both written and verbal Demonstrate the proven ability to manage your own time with excellent organisation skills and strong attention to detail High level of professionalism and integrity; displaying the highest standard of professional ethics Flexible attitude towards working practices and ability to adapt style as required A natural team player ready to assist and support colleagues where necessary Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a genuine desire to further your career at Kennedys Please let us know if you require any additional support or adjustments to be made in order to submit your application to Kennedys.
