Job Tasks and Responsibilities We have positions available for a Building Manager at various sites in Melbourne.
The role we currently have available involves managing the daily tasks required of the role including but not limited to:
Full time Monday to Friday - Building Manager On call for emergencies 24/7 Liaising with committees and residents' requests on a daily basis Working closely with our Owners Corporation team members who also manage the site Implementing and managing the scheduled maintenance program Facilitating requirements for building compliance checks and certification Periodic inspections of common areas, facilities, plant, and equipment Report writing and populating management software with activities undertaken Managing service providers against contract service expectations Providing recommendations to the committee regarding ongoing maintenance of the complex Providing input around building upgrade works and projects Forging positive relationships with team members, clients, owners, strata managers, and contractors Overseeing all contractors undertaking works at the complex Overseeing residents moving in and out of the site Actively encouraging opportunities to bring together residents to create a community Skills and Experience The successful applicant will possess the following skills:
Motivated and proactive Strong computer and administrative skills An understanding or willingness to learn the technical aspects of building management Able to seek better ways to do things and thrive in a challenging environment Proven ability to manage providers to ensure optimum outcomes Ability to work autonomously Ability to work as part of a team Evidence of positive contributions to sites previously managed Job Benefits and Perks Applicants will also be provided with:
