AssetBM is looking for an experienced Facility Manager with professional leadership skills. If you have building/facilities/hotel management experience, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for a leader who cares about the resident experience and is proactive in maintaining the Asset with pride. We seek someone who works towards creating a safe and strong community within the apartment lifestyle.
We are a Melbourne-based Building management company that is experiencing extraordinary growth since its humble beginnings. We are uniquely positioned for expansion in Melbourne. Our portfolio is spread across metropolitan Melbourne. This is a full-time role in a prestigious apartment complex, mostly Mon-Fri, based in Melbourne City.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
A natural collaborative leaderA positive and welcoming attitudeInitiative to work autonomously and proactivelyA good sense of professional judgment and maturityGenuine care and interest in helping residents and solving problemsAn eye for good presentation (personal and facilities presentation)Curiosity to learn, coach, and develop on the jobSkills required Leadership skills to empower the onsite teamConfident stakeholder management and relationship-building skillsProfessional written and verbal communication skillsOrganisational skills to establish and implement proactive maintenance programs, routine inspections, and organise repairs.People skills to engage with cleaners, contractors, consultants, residents, committee members, etc.Understand and apply workplace OH&SProficient in Microsoft Office & tech-savvy in generalNegotiation skills to secure competitive quotes and manage service contractsDefect management experience is preferableA brand ambassador to represent AssetBM in a good lightThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation that values equal opportunity and a supportive culture.
