Permanent Full time Sydney Location Hybrid working model How will I help?
Key finance leader to partner with the customer engagement business by providing financial, strategic and management advice.
This will include understanding the risks and opportunities within the business and more broadly across Consumer and Business and from this provide trusted advice to the business achieve its goals Key responsibilities will include: Support the Head of Finance and Directors to meet the management reporting and analysis requirements of the Consumer CFO for the Consumer Customer Engagement and Enablement businesses.
Provide key finance business partner support for the Digital and Consumer Finance LOBs, managing the key performance drivers of the business that drive sustainable value.
This includes providing clear, actionable and ongoing advice on key lag/lead indicators to help the business achieve their financial and business performance goals and understanding the trade-offs.
Actively drive and challenge the business assumptions used for BSR, target setting and forecasting to ensure the robustness of the forecast and target process and outcomes.
Lead the overall consolidation of Cost Allocations for the Customer Engagement business, including clear articulation of the drivers of LOB allocation movements and monthly results against target and forecast.
Support the production of timely, accurate and insightful monthly management reports that clearly align financial performance results (P&L, balance sheet and FTE) against targets and forecast incorporating key business drivers and highlighting risks and opportunities.
Review of same to ensure final output is of high quality.
Facilitate continuous improvement through re-engineering initiatives and problem resolution that support development of consistency in reporting which provide business insights, are responsive to business demands and adhere to compliance requirements and external regulations.
Provide the conduit into the rest of the Finance function and be a pivotal point for aligning various LOB Finance, Business and other stakeholder views to drive alignment and support for delivering outcomes, including key support for the optimisation of the Customer Engagement portfolio, including customer migrations and ROTE performance.

What do I need?
Previous experience in a finance environment and CPA/CA equivalent professional qualifications.
In-depth knowledge of reporting & operational processes.
Financial modelling skills.
In depth knowledge of accounting practices within the finance industry.
Working knowledge of banking industry/ products / channels.
In depth knowledge of key business drivers, performance metrics, multi-dimensional & balanced scorecard concepts.
