ABOUT THE ROLEWeatherford is currently seeking for a full-time permanent TRS Field Specialist I - V. Depending on the level of knowledge & experience, the Field Specialist's role applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform tasks or jobs for a variety of products and services.Entry and intermediate level roles will receive direct supervision in support of their duties and assignments.Senior and fully-qualified level roles will not only provide the direction to junior specialists but will also use their extensive knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and make recommendations to alter development and designs to improve the quality of products and procedures.Familiarity with the variety of field concepts may result in senior roles supporting research but will certainly be used to plan assignments and accomplish goals.Intermediate and Senior positions will act as the key interface with the client at the well site, carrying the duties and responsibilities for completing service assignments and managing other Weatherford personnel at the well site.RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIESSAFETY, SECURITY & COMPLIANCEMaintains the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with Company's Security, Compliance & HSE policies, Management System, relevant laws, regulations, standards and industry practices.Places Quality, Health & Safety, Security and protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers or the communities in which we live and work at risk.Seeks continual improvement in Health, Safety, Security & Protection of the Environment, taking into account responsible care, process vulnerabilities, public, customer and employee inputs, knowledge and technology and best business practices to exceed customer expectations.Supervisors & Managers should demonstrate effective safety leadership for the health and safety arrangements of all subordinates and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises.QUALITYResponsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and taking an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford's Management System.Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of all policies & procedures, related operational & non-operational documentation, supports systems, complies with all Technical Work Instructions and Test Procedures.Maintains service quality as an immediate priority when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement.Senior roles might participate in Annual Technical Audits as required to ensure systems are effectively implemented; a supporting authority will lead such Audits.OPERATIONSParticipates in all daily operations & safety meetings, toolbox, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and reports any issues promptly using the appropriate tools.Maintains equipment, facilities and work area in a presentable and safe working conditions.Monitor and analyzes data to recommend services and solutions.Demonstrates knowledge & skills to perform work processes according to their role level experience & competence.Performs job planning, preparation of tools & equipment, mobilization, job execution and submits all job-related data.Available on 24 hours call basis to respond to customer needs.Tests, operates & maintains tools & equipment as per work instructions, according to policies & procedures in safe and presentable working conditions.Develops and maintains a positive relationship with clients to ensure repeat business.Fully responsible for delivering superior Service Quality to the client.Effectively manage inventory and supplies required at the well site.Follows up failures with the R&M team and ensures failure reports are closed with clients.Contribute, participate or lead equipment failure investigations that support Root Cause Analysis reports.Where the level of the role requires, oversees, leads and mentors Field Operation crew members.Senior level roles may act as technical advisors to management, and they may interpret data for client representatives to optimize services.Intermediate and Senior level roles will perform engineering checks while on client location.Senior level Field Specialist will manage the installation of complex equipment and/or services in the field.Performs other duties and activities safely as assigned by the supervisor within physical constraints of the job.COMMUNICATIONWhere required, will report all equipment failures to the R&M team through the appropriate system.Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders, both internal and external.Supervisors & Managers should communicate expectations, roles, and responsibilities to their reports.FINANCIALAll employees have an accountability to the organization to be financially responsible.Costs incurred should be within the approved budget, processed within agreed time frames & following the relevant financial policy and procedure.PEOPLE & DEVELOPMENTEmployees have a responsibility for developing their own careers within the Company.Employees should regularly engage with their line manager to discuss their performance, objectives, and opportunities to enhance their skills and experience.Supervisors are expected to actively engage with their employees to support talent management through Weatherford's performance management process.Supervisors should collaborate with Human Resources & Technical Development to drive strategies for the recruitment & retention of key personnel.VISION & LEADERSHIPDemonstrates leadership, ethical behaviour, and adherence to Weatherford standards at all times.Shows social orientation, working and being personally connected with others on the job.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSREQUIREDExperience and EducationTechnical Certificate from accredited Technical / Vocational School / High School Diploma + Experience.Field Specialist I - 0 - 1 year in Oil & Gas experience.Field Specialist II - 1 - 2 ½ years in Oil & Gas experience.Field Specialist III - 2 ½ - 4 years in Oil & Gas experience.Field Specialist IV - 4 - 6 years in Oil & Gas experience.Field Specialist V - 6+ years in Oil & Gas experience.KnowledgeFundamentals of Mechanics, Electricity, Electronics, Pneumatics, and/or Hydraulics.Mathematics.Basic Physics and Chemistry.Computer fundamentals.SkillsCritical thinking, active learning & listening, complex problem solving.Good reading and writing skills, strong judgment, and decision-making.Time management.Quality Control Analysis to ensure the product meets required standards.Service Orientation.AbilitiesPhysically capable to undertake the tasks required to perform the role.Information & task ordering & ability to identify when a problem may occur.Ability to react effectively and efficiently in operating tools and machinery.Ability to imagine how tools and products will look when preparing for assembly, repair, or modifications.MOBILISATIONBased in Malaga, Perth.May Include Rotational and/or Shift Work.May include varying weather conditions.Work Type: Indoor / Outdoor Work.Travel Time: 40-50%.Requires International Mobility: Yes.Salary packages starts at $73,150AUD, inclusive of field bonuses.Email ****** for more information.#LI-CP1ABOUT USWeatherford is a leading global energy services company.
