Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Full timeWe currently have a vacancy for a Commercial Manager based at our head office in Parramatta NSW.
Reporting to the Group COO, this role will provide strategic direction to the commercial sales team and commercial support to the manufacturing division.Key Responsibilities:Facilitate strategic direction for the commercial sales team with each industry leadCommercially support decision making within the manufacturing division for new work and existing salesDevelop and present Business Case Submissions and market research for future and current plant production volumesDevelop and maintain relationships with new and existing customersIdentify and recommend products to customers and to DGL for supply and manufactureFacilitate direction setting for each industry the Commercial sales teamReview monthly profitability and sales performance of the Commercial teamDevelop long term sales plans with an industry focus, aligned with the divisional business modelCoordinate accurate customer pricing, regular review of pricing and maintain an effective margin of products related to manufacturing costsEnsure timely and accurate forecasts of customer requirements to Manufacturing sites, protecting manufacturing costs to achieve the required profit marginWork collaboratively with the General manager to achieve sales and growthEstablish and foster relationships with Industry Associations within target industriesKnowledge, Skills, and Experience:Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, with additional science, wastewater, chemistry, chemical engineering, or environmental science qualification a bonusFormal Accounting or Finance Qualification Desired, with previous experience in an analytical roleProven track record in Commercial ManagementFamiliarity with Contract Law in AustraliaAbility to build and maintain financial models, and experienced in financial budgeting and forecastingExperience/exposure to the water treatment, mining, Agriculture, Industrial or Automotive IndustriesProficient in the use of the Microsoft Excel and Office suiteExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to influence outcomes to achieve business objectivesAbility to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to customer serviceAbility to comply with Company policies, procedures, and legislative requirementsExperience in technical sales and/or water treatment experience would be highly regardedWhy work at the DGL Group?At DGL Group, we focus on solving problems for our customers.
