ManagerWestpac Banking Corporation Sydney, AustraliaJob DescriptionManager - WIB and Market RiskPermanent opportunitySydney basedHybrid working modelHow will I help?You will be participating in independent reviews of control frameworks, systems, policies and procedures across the Westpac Institutional Bank (WIB) and Market Risk and identify areas for remediation and opportunities for enhancement.Some of the key accountabilities are:Developing an understanding of the WIB and Market Risk portfolios, their products as relevant, and how they operate both domestically and internationally.Assisting in audit planning, including the identification of processes, risks and controls for testing.Identifying and documenting audit issues, including performing a significance analysis and agreeing management action plans.Assisting in the reporting stages of the audit engagement, including preparing and discussing audit reports with management.Continuously monitoring business unit developments, activities, issue management, emerging risks or concerns.What's in it for me?You'll play a significant part of the future of a business that has been around for over 200 years. And we continue to pay your super contributions while you take all the time you need to get your new family settled.What do I need?Proven experience in internal audit or Big 4 accounting practice with relevant experience in financial services.Experience in Financial Markets or Treasury or IT is desirableConsistent high-quality execution of work and deliverables.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (written and oral), good commercial acumen and judgement.Undergraduate degree.
