We are currently recruiting for a Coordinator on a full-time basis, 38 hours per week to join our team at YMCA Upper Mount Gravatt Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service.
About the Role In this position, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service and the management of a team of Educators.
You will receive support from a dedicated management team, consisting of your fellow Coordinators, Senior Coordinator, Area Coordinator, Regional Manager, and the OSHC Manager.
Responsibilities As the OSHC Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
The development of quality programs Managing the day-to-day running of the programs Coordinating staffing and rostering Ensuring compliance with policy Undertaking administrative requirements Working collaboratively with families and the school community Minimum Requirements As the OSHC Coordinator, you should have:
Completed (or close to completing) a relevant qualification in Childcare or Teaching (minimum - Diploma of Children's Services) Sound experience in assisting with programming and a passion for providing quality childcare Excellent customer service skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills A valid First Aid and CPR certifications, or the willingness to obtain them A current Blue Card, or the willingness to obtain one About the Team YMCA Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services care for children before school, after school, and during holidays across 50+ school sites throughout South East Queensland.

About Your Workplace at the Y YMCA Upper Mt Gravatt Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is located in the heart of our community with convenient access to public transport and car parking.
Our service offers a range of expansive indoor and outdoor spaces that give students and staff members ample opportunity to interact.
We offer Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care for up to 105 children between the hours of 6:30 am and 6:00 pm.

Our service philosophy prioritizes community and belonging, children's agency, and the importance of spontaneous, multi-age play in middle childhood.
We offer a range of planned and spontaneous play experiences for children and welcome educators with unique skill sets to share with children.
