CMV Truck Centre is a large on highway Truck Dealership based at Cavan in modern premises.
Kenworth trucks have dominated the heavy duty truck market in Australia for many years and are the market leading brand.
DAF is a modern technologically advanced European truck, manufactured by Paccar, who are the parent company of Kenworth trucks.
We are part of the CMV Group, a South Australian family-owned business which has been operating for over 90 years and now employs over 2,000 employees across South Australia and Victoria.
About the role
This role will lead a profitable parts team and will manage the day to day operations required to ensure its continued success by meeting both internal and external customer needs.
This role provides an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate to further grow the team and develop new business opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities
Establish specific marketing and merchandising programs for parts inventory to achieve sales and profit targets Analyse market potential for all of the parts department services Oversee and maintain with maximum accuracy all clerical functions within the parts division, including receipting of stock, back orders and accounts payable Control and maintain parts inventory, manage stock adjustments and stock order amendments as necessary Supervise and coordinate the annual physical stocktake of the parts department Ensure manufacturer relationships are maintained to the highest standards at all times Conduct regular briefings and tool box meetings for parts department Provide direction and support for parts team to achieve key performance targets Build and maintain a sound client base promoting high levels of service and commitment to ensure maximum customer satisfaction (CSI) Attend to key accounts personally to ensure customer satisfaction and retention Establish and maintain formal follow up systems of existing and prospective customers Assist customers with the compilation of quotations and tenders when necessary We are looking for someone who:
Has previous experience managing a large Parts team either in the automotive or heavy vehicle industry Holds a certification in Parts Interpreting Demonstrated experience in business development Has excellent verbal and written communication skills Possesses strong commercial acumen and marketing skills Sound computer and administrative skills Demonstrated leadership ability What's on Offer:
